Old school Singapore

The global image of Singapore is portrayed as the fountain of youth; a burgeoning metropolis. Young, vibrant and exciting.

It has stunning architecture, around the clock shopping and beautiful tropical weather.

But, the budding island nation has a culture and history built on the back of pioneers – who in their own way – forged the path for which a New Age Singapore could emerge.

However – and as expected – progress has created tension between old ways and fresh perspective.

Only time will tell if the generations to come will pay adequate homage to those who have come before.
